It’s kind of amazing when a relatively under-the-radar recruit boasts a reported 24 scholarship offers, but such is the case with Matthew Moyer of Columbus, Ohio. Rated as a three star prospect by Scout and Rivals and a four star prospect by 247, the 2016 forward picked up an official offer from Jim Boeheim today.

The 6-foot-8 forward has drawn interest from programs all around the country, from small time schools like Liberty and Grand Canyon, to mid-majors like Butler, Dayton, and Xavier, and all the way up to high major schools such as Wisconsin, Arizona State and, reportedly, Ohio State, in addition to Syracuse.

If that Ohio State offer is legitimate, it’s going to be hard to top the Buckeyes since Moyer grew up in their backyard and both of his parents are OSU graduates, but based on his Twitter updates today he was beyond excited to be getting an offer from a legend like Jimmy B:

By all accounts, Moyer is the type of prospect who, while underrated right now, is on the verge of blowing up on the national scene. He’s a legitimate 6-foot-8, athletic, and explosive, but why are you listening to me right now, when you could be checking out his highlights for yourself?
