It’s no secret that well organized student sections often have “cheat sheets” that include personal information for use in mocking your opponent. Well, the Pittsburgh student section, which calls itself the “Oakland Zoo” and has rather embarrassingly been trying to copy Duke University’s Cameron Crazies for years, handed out such a sheet for today’s game against Syracuse University. The problem is, one of their taunts looks like it’s backfired on them.
Specifically, take a look at the entry for Syracuse sophomore forward Tyler Roberson. The Pitt fans are simply aghast that he’d find Chipotle to be overrated, but that’s not what we’re going to focus on here. Note, first of all, the way that they spell his name “Robertson.” And then look at their conclusion, written in ALL CAPS to let you know they are simply flabbergasted:
“HE SPELLED HIS OWN LAST NAME WRONG – FORGOT THE T IN HIS TWITTER HANDLE”
Obviously the problem there is the fact that his name isn’t actually Robertson. So, while the members of the Oakland Zoo are going to be mocking Roberson’s reading level, it appears it’s really their own reading comprehension that needs a lot of work.
It’s also fun to note that they basically decided to leave Rakeem Christmas alone, because even they aren’t dumb enough to try to wage a war on Christmas.
