I mentioned yesterday how these next three games are crucial to the Syracuse University football team, and that all three are perfectly winnable matchups for the Orange. However, I’m sure some people still have their doubts about how the season will unfold, or at least want to pump the brakes a little bit. So what are your thoughts on how the rest of the season will unfold?

For me, I’m sticking with my preseason prediction of either 6-6 or 7-5, and I’m starting to lean toward 7-5 assuming Eric Dungey and Erv Philips come back healthy. I think this is a young team built to get better as the season goes on, and after hanging with LSU despite being extremely short handed, at least offensively, the Orange are looking like a potentially dangerous team down the stretch.

But you already know what I think. What I want to know is, what do you think? Should the Orange start shooting for the stars and an ACC title? Will the wheels fall off completely? Or will the team settle into some sort of middle ground, earning a bowl berth at one of those lower tier games no one ever remembers actually exists?
