It’s been an exciting summer for Syracuse University fans, for both football and basketball. Recruiting has been on a big upswing, with the Orange landing several of their most coveted recruits in both sports. For the football team, it’s a good time to get excited with the recent addition of North Carolina express back Moe Neal, an electric runner who joins his good friend Robert Washington as the headliners of the 2016 class.

With that said, we’re kicking off what we’re calling Orange Week (or, if you want to get savvy on Twitter, let’s hashtag this thing: #OrangeWeek). We’ll be looking back at some of the top prospects who have pledged to play for Scott Shafer and his staff as the football team gets closer and closer to opening up fall camp.

I already mentioned Moe Neal, and we’ll get things started with the young man with the 4.39 speed who chose Syracuse over the likes of Wake Forest, Boston College, West Virginia, Duke, and Mississippi State. Robert Washington, Sr., was good enough to send along Moe’s commitment party highlight reel, which played for friends and family the day he officially decided he wanted to play for Syracuse. Check it out below.
