The Syracuse University football team may be changing up the format of this year’s spring game, but fans of the Orange will no doubt be interested in catching a glimpse of the new offense being installed by offensive coordinator Tim Lester. Well, good news, ‘Cuse fans. Even if you don’t live in upstate New York, you can still watch on ESPN3.

The spring game, which kicks off (so to speak) at 1:00 p.m. in the Carrier Dome, will be available to stream through either WatchESPN.com or the WatchESPN app. That’s definitely good news for out of town fans, like myself. Even better news for the out of towners like me is that, since it’s an ESPN3 broadcast, it’ll be archived so that if you won’t be able to watch live (again, like me) you can go back in and check it out after the fact.

Obviously, there are a lot of things to watch for. How does Terrel Hunt look coming back from his broken leg? How’s the offensive line gelling? How are the running backs going to be? On defense, who will step up in a depleted and inexperienced secondary? And perhaps most importantly, how early is too early to start the #DixonForHeisman campaign?
